About the Academy

Welcome to Harveston

Great Hearts Harveston is the network's first Louisiana academy. We opened in Baton Rouge in 2022 and have grown one grade at a time since — serving K–9 today, K–10 in 2026–27, and the full K–12 by 2028. The Hawks are a new community, joining the same classical formation taught at every Great Hearts campus.

The same Singapore Math, the same Spalding phonics, the same Latin from fourth grade forward, the same nine virtues. Latin in Louisiana, taught by faculty who have read Virgil more times than they can count, to children whose parents trust them with the years that matter most.
