About the Academy

Welcome to Northern Oaks

Great Hearts Northern Oaks is a unified K–12 campus in north San Antonio. The Texas Great Hearts model places lower and upper schools under one roof: kindergarteners share the courtyard with seniors finishing their college credit work, and a child who begins with us in K can stay through twelfth grade without ever changing campuses.

The Griffin is our mascot — a creature of two natures, the eagle's eye and the lion's heart, joined to a single purpose. It is not a bad sigil for a school that asks both precision and courage of its students.
